I liked the canal view from our bedroom. I liked the beds & coverings. I liked the friendly cat. I liked the breakfast. I liked the easy internet access.

I did not like the rough toilet paper. It was like small, pull-out, paper hand towels in a dispenser. I prefer rolls over individual sheets.

Perfect location for exploring the city by foot... close to good coffee shops and train station. Beautiful friendly cat... rooms were clean and the mattresses were new.

Room was a little cold because the radiator was broken but still good value for money as Amsterdam goes.

Location. Quiet despite being in city centre. Rooms small and very basic but adequate. Plenty of hot water for shower.

Considering this was the cheapest B&B we found, the quality was a lot better than we expected and we'd definately stay there again. Loved the adorable cat who lives there!!

very small room, without any wardrobe or shelf so all the week my had to keep our cloths in the suitcases; only 1 socket in the room

Location was brilliant and very clean. Canal view was great. Staff extremely friendly.

Not too keen on cat being allowed into breakfast room whilst people were eating. Would not have liked a room at the back of the hotel.

The position is perfect. So convenient for everything and very central. The hotel cat is gorgeous!

The "Luxuary" room looked out onto a flat roof! However it was very quiet. In all fairness it was a very clean but fairly basic room not luxuary. The chair cover was very worn and looked as though something had been spilt on it - it hadn't but it looked tatty. There were no bedside cabinets so I think a description of a triple room with facilities ensuite would be fairer.

Building work; Breakfast room was dismantled on last day - we were given no notice that this would happen, although the hotel did pay for us to have breakfast at a local bakers.

I seemed to have sustained a number of mosquito nights during the night which maybe down to the exceptionally hot spring weather and the abundance of canals

Clean and cozy. Very quiet. Canal side. Not far from the "Golden Bend" on Herengracht. Close to central station. We didn't need wheels between. Free luggage storage.

The room is quite small, just enough for 2 single beds, a 2 ft x 1 ft table and a chair. A tiny hole to hang coats but hard to reach. No room for suitcase. A sink in the room but shared bathroom/shower. Staircase is narrow and steep. Need to be very careful when hike up and down.
