Offering 6 Boutique-style rooms, many with views of the fells, Brantfell is personally run by the owners, Chris and Jane Amos, who aim to offer a relaxing stay with personalised service. For moments of relaxation you can unwind in the house’s welcoming lounge with traditional log fire. Alternatively you can work away the day’s stresses in the nearby Low Wood Leisure Club (Brantfell has full membership for free access).
Brantfell’s surroundings are ideal for a range of country pursuits, including rambling, climbing, cycling and water-sports. There are even more attractions within a short drive of the house.

The Brantfell House had a very warm feeling with friendly and helpful staff; Jane cooked a lovely breakfast with fresh produceall from the local area. The room was kept to a very high standard; I would recommend the room to couples young and old. To sum up I would recommended the Brantfell to anyone who wants a nice warm friendly place to stay warlst visiting Ambleside, definitely the best hotel |
